Top 4 Reasons You Didn't Get it Together in 2014

Every year  you make a list of  "Resolutions"; For the sake of this post we'll call it the"S#it List". I hear everything from losing 75lbs, to getting married, to making 1million dollars. The buck stops here folks!!  I'm Going to tell  you the Top 4 reasons those resolutions are never resolved, and hopefully move you in the right direction for 2015.
I've been guilty of making this list and checking it twice, every year never accomplishing one single item on it. I watched my friends beat themselves up at the end of every year upon realizing that they too had achieved nothing on their list. What did they do wrong?? What have we all done wrong?

#4 Too Many Distractions

We are too easily distracted. Granted there is a lot going on in the world, politically, socially, and in our personal lives, but is seems as though we have the attention span of a bar of soap.

How do you expect to succeed at anything if you refuse to focus on the tings that will propel you in a positive direction? You think Jay Z became the Mogul he is today by getting caught up in the life of every Tom, Dick, and Harry, forsaking his own vision? I think not.

#3No Real Game Plan
So you said that 2014 was going to be your year. You were going to leave no room for failure, and quitting wasn't an option, We didn't believe you. The reason a lot of people secretly thought you were full of it is because you had no solid plan in place to execute any of your visions. Yeah you said you were going to work out twice a week before breakfast, but that's not a plan.A plan covers a lot more bases than one, and just because you logged it into your calendar doesn't mean it made sense or that you really even believe that you can accomplish what you're setting out to do. There are strategies to success, strategies that cannot be ignored.

#2 The Company You Keep

The people that you entertain or are entertaining you will directly influence your ambitions toward self improvement. For example If you are trying to quit smoking and your friends keep leaving you alone in the house so that they can go smoke outside, you will be less likely to quit for fear of being ostracized or abandoned. If the people you are around are helping create a positive environment  then success comes a lot easier.

#1 Lack of Self Evaluation

The number one reason you didn't accomplish what you wanted to  this year is that a part of you didn't want to do it!!!!
" What?!!! Yes I did!!!!!!"you say. No you didn't, and that's why a self evaluation in critical in success. You might think you want to do something but until you know why you want to do it , and figure our if doing it would be in your best interest you cannot guarantee your self success in any particular area of your life.

For The new year we will be discussing how to Make the perfect Goal list for 2015 and how to properly execute it for optimal success, so stay turned!!
